Many problems still with computers & the internet at HEAL Africa Hospital, so I am passing on some news that has filtered through. (Bev Millican)
The second team, comprised of Paul Bakes (IT), Dr Miriam Lee (Obstetrician) & Sue Reid (Radiographer) arrived safely on Saturday afternoon. Paul has been busy unpacking the IT gear from the DHL boxes which Gwen had sent over & is revising his plans. With Dr Miriam's arrival there is now an added focus on obstetrics teaching & training. And Sue was welcomed back to the Radiology Department to help with French speaking as well as her usual tasks.
Neil & Gwen, with Ryan interpreting, spoke at an all-day Christian Medical & Dental Fellowship meeting on Sunday following the regular morning church service. They have both had a busy week, with Neil's surgeries going well & Gwen teaching English to about 6 students.
